The Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church, Amuwo Odofin Districts' Coordinating Council (DCC), Festac, Lagos, Pastor Joe Jacobs has urged Christians not to let their tithes be too big for them to pay, urging them to pay it without looking back.
Pastor Joe Jacobs stated this while ministering on the topic "Grace To Recognize The Divine Input Of God" on Sunday March 7, 2022 at the Sunday Service of CAC Amuwo Odofin DCC headquarters, Lagos.
He noted that God wants us to appreciate His input in our lives and when we appreciate Him, we will not depreciate.
The Cleric said appreciation is unconscious price pay for future favour and obedience to God's instructions are not negotiable most especially when we are children of God.
Part of obedience to God, according to Pastor Joe Jacobs is payment of tithes.
"Pay your tithes. It is a token of 10 percent to recognize God as the owner. It is a tax of God on our lives. Those who pay tithes prosper. If you want wealth or to be cheated forever, the choice is yours, but faithfulness in paying tithes will make you to be wealthy," he stated.
The former Youth Officer said when one does not pay tithe, there would be curse for robbing God, heaven will be closed and communication network with God will be cut off.
"When you pay your tithes, God will teach you more ways to make wealth.Wisdom to make wealth will be released. If you didn't pay tithe on time, add ⅕ to your tithes whenever you default. If your life is not attractive don't blame God but your disobedience," he emphasized.
Pastor Joe Jacobs led the church to pray to God to release grace to pay tithes faithfully.
