CAC President dedicates church building of CAC Palace of His Grace Assembly

The church building of Christ Apostolic Church, Palace of His Grace, Monatan, Ibadan has been dedicated. The building was dedicated by the President of CAC Nigeria and Overseas, Pastor Samuel O. Oladele on Sunday April 4, 2022.

CAC Palace of His Grace was planted by CAC Ori-Oke Baba Abiye, Ede, Osun State under the administration of the presiding Pastor of the mountain, Prophet Timothy Funso Akande.

While delivering his address on the short history of the church, Prophet Akande said God spoke to Him in 2019 that He would start a church through him and the name will be CAC Palace of His Grace. 

He further explained that he kept the name and waited for the next instruction, adding that around February 2020, God told him that he should go and start the church He told him about in Ibadan. 

"In obedience, we started looking for a place. We later got our temporary site, behind Pemola Filling Station, here at Monatan. To start the church, we organized an open air crusade which took place on the site. The crusade started on 26th February and closed Friday, 28th February, 2020. Immediately after the crusade, we inaugurated the church the following Sunday, 1st March, 2020 with an encouraging number of attendants. However, about two months later, there was COVID-19 total lockdown which affected many churches all over Nigeria. But to the glory of God, this church was marching on miraculously until the siege was over.

"After the lockdown, full church services resumed and testimonies were rolling in. The journey to this permanent site started when all our efforts to renew our tenancy on the temporary site proved abortive. Amazingly, we discovered this portion of land and purchased two plots in August 2021 and later, God added another two plots. We laid the foundation of the church building on 7 September, 2021. We held services in the uncompleted building for few weeks but surprisingly, the church building was completed on 30th of March, 2022, six months after the foundation.To God be the glory who has given us speed by His grace to do all things with ease," Prophet Akande said.

Ministering on the topic "The Supremacy of God", the President of CAC Nigeria and Overseas, Pastor Oladele said there is no doubt that our God is supreme, saying that whether the world loves it or not, our God is supreme, nothing can stop Him. 

He added that "It is only things that He has decreed in heaven we can be achieve on earth. Nobody can be compared with Him. The Lord has chosen His Church as a medium of demonstration of Himself. The Word of God supercedes the philosophies of this world."

Pastor Oaldele said the change in the name of Shadrach Meshach and Abednego didn't change them from who they are, rather they were getting stronger, noting that as believers, our loyalty to God must be tested. 

"As Christians we shouldn't be afraid of God. Many of us are afraid of the witch and wizard, we shouldn't be afraid of them. They can't stop us. Where Christ is not allowed to rule, He will overrule. Unlike the three Hebrews, many people are afraid because they know the supremacy of God," he stated.

According to him, just like the three Hebrews were asked to bow to idol, the idol of today may not be physical, but philosophical, immoral thoughts, lesbianism, homosexuality, theory of evolution, secular humanism etc., urging everyone to stand for Christ irrespective of the persecution.

The service ended with special thanksgiving and cutting of cake.
