The 2022 General Staff Retreat of the Christ Apostolic Church Theological Seminary (CACTS) came to a close on Wednesday, 18th May, 2022, after three days of exciting, captivating, practical and memorable sessions, as the staff members canvassed for its annuality.
The final day of the retreat witnessed a medical lecture given by Matron R. O. Oluwaniyi, on "Stress Management and the Multidimensional Task of the Drivers of the Theological Education" aimed at managing the multidimensional tasks faced by the Seminary staff.
Matron Oluwaniyi suggested some stress management techniques to include, physcial exercise, healthy eating, relaxation, mindfulness and meditation, adequate rest, laughter, cognitive restructuring and taking a break.
The Seminary Registrar, Pastor L.B. Akinyosoye, also did a workshop on the "Organogram/Organizational Structure of Christ Apostolic Church Theological Seminary" after which Pastor Henry Omoniyi, the Internal Auditor of Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria and Overseas lectured the staff members on "Financial Audit and Book-Keeping Strategies for Transparency and Accountability".
The rest of the day's retreat was a solemn Holy Communion Service; Communique; General Review by Professor 'Femi Adedeji and Presentation of Certificates of participation to the staff attendees and all resource persons.
While Prof. Adedeji gave recommendations for the bettering of subsequent retreats, suggested to hold frequently (annually or biannually); the Provost of the Seminary, Pastor Professor Christopher Olubunmi Oshun, expressed his utmost joy and gratitude to God, and all and sundry for the success of the 2022 CACTS Staff Retreat.
