Pastor Samuel O. Oladele |
The President of Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria and Overseas, Pastor Samuel O. Oladele has stressed the need for parents to wake up and bring up their children in the fear of God and monitor their activities.
Pastor Oladele stated this recently in an interview with newsmen in Abuja during his five days working visit to CAC Mediayese Region.
The Clergyman also advised the youths to avoid being used as political thugs as the 2023 general election draws nearer.
Similarly, he urged religious institutions to create more youth programmes to check restiveness and other social vices in the country.
Pastor Oladele who decried the level of criminal activities among youths said the Church has a role to play to save youths who are the future of the country.
According to him, most parents have abandoned their responsibilities and placed the upbringing of their children to the school teachers and house helps.
The CAC President commended pastors in the FCT region for their doggedness in evangelism and urged them not to allow the present challenges in the country affect their relationship with other faiths.
He asked them to remain obedient to the church authority and be ready to serve at any location whenever the need arises.
Pastor Oladele pleaded with the federal government to consider the plight of the citizens and make their welfare a priority.
