Christ Apostolic Church, Oke-Ibukun, Oke-Ado Districts' Coordinating Council (DCC), Ibadan on Saturday June 18, 2022 held her Workers' Summit, 2022 Edition.
The 2022 edition of the programmme which started with Ministers' Summit on Friday June 17, 2022 was held at the DCC headquarters in Oke-Ado, Ibadan, had in attendance Ministers with their wives and other workers in the DCC.
While ministering on the topic 'Faithfulness as a Prerequisite for Reward' (Text: Proverb 14:23; Matthew 25:23; 1 Thess. 5:24), Pastor G.O. Adekeye of CAC Agbala-Ayo, Ile-Ife, Osun State said faithfulness is a prerequisite for Kingdom service and reward.
He noted that as a minister of God or Church Worker, if you are not faithful or truth worthy, any service you render for God is eyeservice.
The Clergyman said faithfulness in the discharge of duty is very important; urging Ministers and Workers to exhibit faithfulness at duty post; adding that God expects everyone to be fruitful.
Pastor Adeyele urged ministers of God not to prepare their messages to target any member of the church, but preach it according to the leading of the Holy Spirit and must be preached in love.
Emphasising on the need to serve with faithfulness, the Cleric said the Holy Spirit can not work where the foundation is laid on falsehood.
"Reward or Profit is here to become an accelerator that invigorates our efforts in life which also commands persistence, performance, consistence and perseverance, until an expected goal and destination is achieved. Therefore fellow ministers and co-workers in God's vineyard, rejoice that your labour awaits its Reward or Profit not from any task master but from the Lord who appoints you and engage you in your ministry's duty posts," he stated.
He added that; "faithfulness is the only effect attribute to open you for divine and social recognition. It is one of what is necessarily required to work in God's great house, and protect you from false accusation. It is a strong shield that can protect you from character assassination and give you assess among leaders for recognition. It is an asset to those who armed themselves with it for their accelerated promotion and give them victory over destiny enviers and glory persecutors."
According to him, faithfulness exemplifies in your labour of trust, labour of love, labour of discipline, labour of obedience, labour of accountability, labour of responsibility and labour of the kingdom of God; stating that whatever service you render in faithfulness, God will never forget to give a befitting reward.
He told the congregation that; "you cannot operate on the high frequency of excellence except God works on you and you also to work on yourself. Your faithfulness grows to full stature of Godly perfection by abidden to the rudiments of the mysteries of God that multiplies in your life and ministry (2Pet. 1:3-11)."
