Christ Apostolic Church,Odi Olowo Districts' Coordinating Council (DCC) Ilupeju, Lagos, Pearce Region celebrates her 12th annual anniversary on Sunday 26th of June, 2022.
The anniversary with the theme "Grow in the Grace and Knowledge of God" was held at the DCC headquarters in Ilupeju and had in attendance all the 10 districts under the Odi Olowo DCC.
Preaching at the anniversary,the Regional Superintendent, Pearce Region, Pastor S.O Aluko said God is God, He will continue to be God and that is the reason why we give Him thanks for the great opportunity He has given to us all.
He emphasized that being an infant in Christ for long is very dangerous as he preached on the topic "Let us go unto perfection."
According to him, God expects us to grow daily in the physical and spiritual realm, if your life is at the same level as when you gave your life to Christ then you need to do a recheck.
The Clergyman added that failure to grow into perfection brings limitation, adding that"we are not perfect as human but ability to grow makes us a better person. Do not limit yourself from getting what you deserve with. Be willing,seek God and study the word of God for direction."
At the programme, districts who contributed immensely to the success of the DCC were presented with an award so as to appreciate them.
Also the Adegboyega Football Team was awarded coming 1st during the DCC football match.
Initially while delivering the welcome address on behalf of the DCC Superintendent, Pastor J.T. Oyeyemi,the Secretary of Odi-Olowo DCC, Pastor F.A. Oke appreciated everyone for their contribution and usual cooperation towards the development of the DCC.
