The President of Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria and Overseas, Pastor Samuel O. Oladele has harped on the need to give good treatment to minsters of God, saying Ministers are God's gifts to the Church, when you reject a man of God you reject God's gift.
Pastor Oladele who stated this today Saturday June 11, 2022 while ministering on the topic "The Judgement Seat of Christ" at the inauguration of CAC Essien Region and induction of Pastor Olu Eyebiokin as the pioneer Regional Superintendent said we are going to be judged on how we treat God's servant.
He explained that "the Bible expects us to obey God's servants. There is no room for your kingdom when His own kingdom has come down to the Church. Ministers are God's gift to the Church, when you reject a man of God you're rejecting God's gift. You may be a professor, but you can't come to the church as a professor, you must come like a learner to learn at the feet of Jesus Christ. Some people are fond of sabotaging the efforts of the Pastor at their own detriment and they are as wicked as Pharaoh. Many churches want minsters who know how to teach, how to heal, who can pray, who can conduct revival, who can go to mountains but they cannot play their roles to make the work comfortable for the Pastor."
Emphasising on the topic, Pastor Oladele said "it is a erroneous teaching that we shall all face the Judgement Seat of Christ. There are seven judgement seats in the Bible. The Judgement Seat of Christ is for those who have accepted Christ as Lord and Savior. The Judgement Seat is not for everybody on earth. Whether we like it or not we have to contend with the fact that one day we shall all appear before the Judgement Seat of Christ. The Judgement on that day won't be on our faith because the sin that would take us to hell has been dealt with when we accepted Christ. We will be judged based on our works. It is a place of reward for those who run the race faithfully.
"As it is at every sporting event, the Christian race is set before us. Every Christian is an athlete, boxer or footballer and we know there are rules that govern different kinds of sports. Same thing is applicable to Christian race, you can't run the race with your own wisdom. The same rules that applied to Noah, Abraham, Babalola, Akinyele and co apply to us. Some of us look at fame or money as what God will use to judge us, it is our faithfulness. There is no room for your expertise or opinion when God has spoken. You can't run the race like Egba, Ekiti or Ibadan man, but faithfully."
