The Director of Youth Affairs, Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria and Overseas, Pastor Samson O. Gbuyiro has called on the youths of the church to participate actively in the nation’s political process by obtaining their Permanent Voter Card (PVC) to elect credible people into offices.
He described PVC as vital instrument needed to enthrone godly and good leadership that would impact on the lives of the masses, even as eligible persons have less than a week to obtain the card.
Pastor Gbuyiro who stated this in a release obtained by our correspondent said PVC is necessary to stop “business as usual” approach to governance by some politicians who have mortgaged the future of the masses.
"My beloved brethren in Christ Jesus, this is a clarion call on all of us, the 2023 general elections is around the corner and we are the determinants of who governs us after the elections.Remember that the final lap towards carrying out your civic duty as an electorate in the country begins with getting your PVC to enable you to vote on election day.
"As Christians, we must all participate actively in politics, either as members of political parties or as electorate. I want to urge all youths of our great mission to get their PVCs to participate in the 2023 general elections. Nigerians and indeed Christians must not sit on the fence, we must all participate actively in the nation’s electoral process, ” he said
