Christ Apostolic Church, Akinyele Region has held a prayer programme for choristers in the region on Saturday, July 16th, 2022.
The programmme which was held at Oke Igbala Ketu DCC headquarters, had in attendance, choristers from different DCC and Zones in the region.
Standing in for the regional superintendent, during the welcome address, the Regional Secretary, Pastor E. O. Oyedeji, said that the program was set up to pray for the choir department and encourage them on how to progress in the crucial task that God has committed into their hands.
Explaining the regional superintendent's vision for the prayer program, he said,"The vision of our leader, Pastor S. A. Adedayo in this year 2022 to operate in prayers which has started with other different departments in the church and from next year, we embark on the journey of the word".
Charging the choristers present into a powerful prayer session, the Zonal Superintendent, Christ Family Zone, Pastor Isaiah Afolayan, said that choristers should be filled with the Spirit of God like David, such that unclean spirits will not be able to stand them whenever they minister.
The programmme also featured powerful word session and prayers for the church and the nation after which the regional superintendent, who came in towards the end of the program, released words of blessings to the attendees.
