Christ Apostolic Church Youth Fellowship (CACYOF) Akinyele Region Sisters' Fellowship has held another edition of her conference on Saturday, July 16th 2022 at CAC Oke Igbala Ketu DCC Headquarters, Lagos.
The program which was tagged 'Unashamed: Full and Free" was well attended by married, single, and teenage sisters across DCC/zones in the region.
The Regional Sisters' Coordinator, Evang. (Mrs.) Bunmi Wajero during the welcome address, expressed her gratitude to God for making the conference a reality.
According to her, the first Regional Sister's Conference tagged "The Beautiful You," was a gathering of queens and princesses of the kingdom.
Expatiating on this year's theme from 1Peter 2:9, she emphasised the need for young women to know that they are made for more than they measure themselves to be.
"You are to born to laugh and not to be a laughing stock. Some belittle our gender because they could not see neither perceive that, we birth the wonder the world has been waiting for; you are women of significance with a God given destiny."
Echoing Psalm 144:12, CACYOF Akinyele Regional Coordinator Pastor Olu Olorunpomi, during the opening charge, also stated that the two cues expressed in the verse which women are to learn from are strength and beauty.
According to him, women are meant to be strong rather than live as weak vessels that they are usually likened to be.
"It is commonplace to associate weakness to the female gender whereas they are created to be strong for the assignment of birthing glorious destines." He said.
On the aspect of beauty he said,
"It is expected of sisters to be beautiful inside and out; the inner beauty is the character that wins even the strongest of men without carrying a weapon. The outer beauty is not something to be despised too.
He added that sisters are designed for palaces and that every married sister has the privilege and power to make her home a palace and her husband a king while the single sister should be built and prepared for the palace awaiting the manifestation of her strength and beauty.
He then said that he believe that by the reason of the conference, there will be an aend to the menace of women without inner beauty and strength especially among Christian sisters.
The program also featured powerful charge session by Evang. (Mrs) Bisi Olowoyo and other life changing sessions.
