One of the uniqueness of Christ Apostolic Church is that God blessed the church with ministers who carry the presence of God which is responsible for how He has has been using them to bless lives exceedingly. One of such ministers is the Regional Revivalist of Babajide Region, who is also the DCC Superintendent of CAC Achievers DCC, Prophet Samuel Olugbenga Olukosi.
His Biography
Pastor Dr. Samuel Olugbenga Olukosi was born on July 25, 1962 into the family of chief Adeyemi Aliu Olukosi Owa and Mrs Alice Ogunbanke Olukosi Owa of Odo-Eri in Yagba west local government of kogi state. The father, a core muslim where the mother an idol worshiper, who later decided for Christ.
He had his school leaving certificate in the year 1976 at L.E.A. primary school Odo-Eri . He completed secondary education ( WAEC ) in 1981 at Titcombe college Egbe, Kogi state. While in the college, he met the Lord as his Lord as and saviour. He came out a chapel prefect and the president of the fellowship of Christian students (FCS).
Prophet Olukosi studied Administrative accounting (IAA) between 1981 and 1983 at school of computer and business studies, an affiliate of Institute of administrative accounting London in Akure, Ondo state. He gained employment with Ilorin agricultural development project, a world bank assisted project, now called Kwara State Agricultural Development Programme, in the year 1986, he resigned his appointment and proceeded to United Missionary Theological College, Ilorin, in obedience to the call of God in his life, where he obtained Diploma in Theology in the year 1989. While in UMTC, he was duly elected to serve the union as secretary general. The administration was marked with indisputable achievements. Silent among was the affiliation of the college to the University of Ibadan. In furtherance of his education, Prophet Olukosi came back to the college and obtained his bachelor degree in Theology in the year 1993, Masters of Arts in Theological Studies in 2006 and Doctoral degree in Church ministry in 2012.
As a minister of God in Christ Apostolic Church worldwide, he served as Evangelist in different local assemblies including Christ Apostolic Church oke-itura, Fate Ilorin, before he was ordained in December, 1993 and posted to Christ Apostolic Church, Temidire, Bacita as an area pastor in 1994. In 1997, the man of God, an evangelist was appointed the first Ilorin district co-ordinating council revivalist in Kwara state. As a revivalist, evangelist and church planter, God used Pastor Dr. Olukosi to conduct revivals in many parts of the country, United kingdom and United State of America. God has equally used him to plant many churches in some towns, cities and villagies in Nigeria. These include Ogbondoroko, Shishita, Bacita village, Ibadan, Oro, Ikirun, Ilorin and Offa, the headquarter of all the churches.
Prophet Olukosi Samuel was promoted to the rank of Pastor grade 1 in 1996, District superintendent in 2005 and in the year 2007 he became the Chairman of Achiever Zonal Council in Offa and a member of General Executive Council, the highest ruling body in Christ Apostolic Church.
In 2013, Prophet Olukosi, was appointed a member of the General Executive Council committee on Evangelical and Outreach-Department, an arm of National revival and crusade in Christ Apostolic Church worldwide.
Prophet Olukosi is the Current and pioneer Regional Evangelist for Christ Apostolic Church Babajide Region.
The man of God has received several awards among which includes 2008, Offa and Oyun Local Government chapter of Gospel Musician Association (GOMAN) in recognition of his contribution to the growth and development of the gospel music in the communities. In 2011, Offa local government chapter of youth wing of Christian Association of Nigeria in recognition of major roles in the growth and development of the youths in Offa community.
Prophet Dr. Olukosi is a member of Board of directors of Salem Pilgrimage Board Nigeria Limited, a group which he led to Holy-land, Israel in 2008. The Man of God was the first Chairman of Christian Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (CPFN) Offa Local Government of Kwara State.
The Clergyman is also a member of General Executive Council (GEC), the highest decision making body of the church.
Prophet Olukosi is married to Lady evangelist Abigail Abosede Olukosi and blessed with children.
