It was a joyous moment in Owo, Ondo State as Christ Apostolic Church, Owo Districts' Coordinating Council (DCC) celebrated 29th anniversary in Grand style.
The DCC had about 11 DCC and Zones carved out of it since its inception, they are Oke Oluwa Zone (now Oke Oluwa DCC), Ifon Zone (now Ifon DCC), Irekari zone (now irekari DCC), Ijebu-Owo Zone, Okeluse Zone, Ayomiposi Zone, Irowolisawo Zone, Ehinogbe Zone, Iyere-Owo Zone, and Ife Isokan (Ute) Zone.
The anniversary which was held on Sunday 31st July at the DCC headquarters, Igboroko nla Owo, had in attendance all the 7 District Superintendents that made up the DCC, Pastors, Evangelists, midwives etc.
In his sermon to commomerate the 29th year anniversary of the DCC titled 'sacrifice of praise to God' taken from the book of Hebrew 13:13,the DCC Superintendent, Pastor B. B. Olayinka emphasized the need to offer praise to God for sustaining the DCC despite the fact that some zones and DCCs has been carved out of the DCC, they are still able to bear both the financial and spiritual burdens of the DCC.
He ended the message by appreciating the districts that makes up the DCC for their unflinching support through thick and thin.
He then prayed to God to continue to see the DCC through and next year anniversary will take a bigger dimension if Christ tarries in His coming. Special thanksgiving donations were offered by each district.
