Abundance of joy and excitement expressed through dancing, shouts and songs of praise ushered in the commencement of the 2022 International Conference and Thanksgiving Celebration of the Christ Apostolic Church Youth Fellowship (CACYOF), Babajide Region (comprising of Kwara and Kogi States).
With the auditorium of CAC Oke Isegun, Babajide Regional Headquarters, Odo-Owa, Kwara State, filled to the brim with excited youths from Kwara and Kogi States, Wednesday, 3rd July, 2022 stands as the commencement of the Conference for Babajide Region, and the entirely, the 2022 International Youth Conference for CACYOF in Nigeria.
In the euphoric atmosphere full of praise and thanksgiving, the Regional Superintendent, CAC Babajide Region, Pastor S. O. Owolabi, who declared the conference opened and welcomed the elated youths to the conference, stated that, "on behalf of the Authorities of the Christ Apostolic Church, I want to welcome all of you. I so much believe thet you are going to have a very good time here."
In his Opening Speech, the Director of Youth Affairs, Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria and Overseas, Pastor Samson O. Gbuyiro, appreciated God, saluted the audience and organizers of the conference, saying that, "the Lord has made our meeting this year possible because he has put them in place."
Pastor Gbuyiro preaching on the topic, "Surely the Lord is in this Place" from the text, Genesis 28:10-21 raised the heart desires of the congregants to receive encounters from the conference.
The impactational preaching led to the harvest of souls as the cleric made the altar call for repentance.
The Assistant Director of Youth Affairs, Pastor S. O. Oke, also led the congregation into another session of thanksgiving and testimonies.
Notably, a birthday celebration with cutting of cake and photographs was thrown for the Assistant Director of Youth Affairs, Pastor S. O. Oke who clocked his 50th year few days before the conference.
A Revival Hour (Welcome to Bethel) led by Pastor L. B. Bamidele concluded the opening session of the conference, which is scheduled to last till Saturday, 6th of August, 2022.
