Christ Apostolic Church Youths from Ondo and Ekiti States (Odubanjo and Sophia Ajayi Region) comprising the Ikeji 1 Conference Center have displayed their hearts of rejoicing and thanksgiving to God as the 2022 International Youth Conference and Thanksgiving Celebration of the Christ Apostolic Church Youth Fellowship (CACYOF), Nigeria and Overseas, Ikeji 1 Conference Center began on Wednesday, 24th August, 2022.
With shouts, songs of rejoicing, and prayers of thanksgiving did the conference commence at the Joseph Ayo Babalola Memorial International Miracle Camp, Ikeji-Arakeji, Osun State.
In his opening charge, the Director of Youth Affairs, Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria and Overseas, Pastor Samson O. Gbuyiro, who related the greetings of the CAC President, Pastor S. O. Oladele, appreciated the planning committee, regional and all youth coordinators for "their courage, sacrifices and ruggedness to ensure the reality of this conference."
In his sermon titled "Somebody touched me" from the text, Luke 8:43-48, Pastor Gbuyiro charged the youths to be purposeful, deliberate and intentional in order to experience miracles and desires of their heart as they touch Christ like the woman in the cited text.
"Anyone of us who have purposefully come to this meeting with an issue, you are not going to return the way you have come but with miracles in Jesus name," he prayed.
The Opening Session was marked by prayers, conference anthem by the conference choir, opening charge by the Director of Youth Affairs, Pastor S. O. Gbuyiro, thanksgiving and offerings, testimonies, and revival hour by Prophet Samuel Oladipo.
