Sunday October 16, 2022 was a memorable day in the history of Christ Apostolic Church, Fountain of Life District headquarters, Adesan, Mowe, Ogun State as the Church marked her 12th anniversary alongside dedication of her newly built church auditorium.
The programme started with a dedication service of the Church auditorium and cutting of the tapes which was carried out by the Superintendent of Anifowose Districts' Coordinating Council (DCC), Pastor Elijah S. Olatunji and other Ministers of God.
The Church Secretary, Mr Olujide Ajayi in his brief history of the Church said, the church started with two weeks revival on Monday 8th March, 2010 and was inaugurated on Sunday 28th March, 2010 by the first Zonal Superintendent of CAC Anifowoshe Zone, Late Pastor Israel Olu Omowaye at Holiness Crescent, Orita Aje, Mowe, Ogun State as Christ Apostolic Church, Fountain of Life.
While ministering at the programme on the topic "I know your work" the DCC Superintendent of CAC Anifowose DCC, Pastor Olatunji said no man is able to reward work being done in the house of God, only the Creator is capable because He sees and knows it all.
He noted that God would not answer a success prayer of a very lazy man because we all have our responsibilities, saying that "you can't neglect your own role and expect God to play it for you, He knows your work."
The clergyman said so many people are receiving little rewards from God because of their dubious calculations and wisdom, urging the congregation not to be dubious in their profession or work for God.
He added: "you cannot deceive God, whatever you sow is what you will reap."
"The ministerial work has many departments and is convenient enough to occupy so many ready workers. Everything is not money, your function in the house of God for the progress of the church would also grant you speed in your endeavors. Do not expect everyone to appreciate you. People don't commend good things in Church, but God in heaven will never overlook your place of reward," he concluded.
The programme ended with thanksgiving as family, friends, colleagues and well wishers celebrated with the District Superintendent, Pastor J.B. Omowaye and the church at large.
