Christ Apostolic Church, Ile Anu, Oshodi Zonal Headquarters, Oshodi Lagos, on Sunday October 2, 2022, held a send-forth service for her immediate past English and Teens church Pastor, Pastor Oloyede Samson.
Pastor Oloyede, who spent 12years in the church, functioned vibrantly as the English church pastor and also the Youth Coordinator for the Ile Anu Oshodi Zone. He has now been called to plant a church, CAC Undiluted Grace.
The service had in attendance the Zonal Superintendent of CAC Oshodi Zone, Pastor F.F. Daramola, Pastor Folorunsho, families, friends and well wishers of Pastor Oloyede .
The Church Choir and Zonal Good Women Choir ministered powerfully in songs.
While ministering at the programme on the topic "No Gift, No Destiny", Pastor Oloyede said there is no one on earth that God has created without a purpose.
He said that "you have a mandate to fulfill as human. When God created Adam he told him to dominate and that was his task. You also have a task to fulfill in order not to waste your time chasing after vanity.
The Cleric noted that whatever your hand findeth doing, make sure you do it with everything in you.
According to him, lack of seriousness is one of the things that would not help one strive towards fulfilling destiny, explaining that so many people just keep dreaming and wishing, yet no manifestation whatsoever, adding that manifestation comes only when one gets serious about life and destiny.
"You must be ready to pay the price. The journey of life is not tea and bread, you also need to play your own role adequately. There's no fulfilment of destiny without you handling your roles as expected by God.
"Take heed in your service, behavior and morals. People may not see you but God is watching you. He is the only one that can reward you. As you continue in the journey of life the most important thing is to surrender all to God," he said.
The programme ended with thanksgiving from Pastor Oloyede and his family and prayers for them.
