It was a whole week of revival and celebration (from October 23 to 30, 2022) to mark the 40years anniversary of Christ Apostolic Church, Mount of Salvation district headquarters, Sabon-Gari Kano State.
The theme of the anniversary is "Praise the name of the Lord - Psalm 113:1. The ruby jubilee was marked with a #20 million fund raising, targeted towards the church's housing project at Kazaure, Jigawa State.
Special dignitaries at the occasion include the Regional Superintendent of Adelaja Region, Pastor S. N. Maichibi, Pastor J. A. Adeosun (the pioneer Secretary of the church & the only surviving member of the church's first Exco); Pastor E. O. Olukanni (Adelaja Regional Secretary).
Many District Superintendents, Pastors, church leaders and numerous invited guests graced the august occasion.
According to the church history,as narrated by Pastor J.A. Adeosun, God used the ministry of late Pastor Z. O. Alo & a few members from CAC Aitken to lay the foundation of the church and ignite series of revivals in October 1982.
The septuagenarian read the major historical facts about the church without wearing eyeglasses,and he added so much colour to the occasion.
The District Superintendent of Mount of Salvation district, Pastor Rotimi Ebenezer Oluwafemi was full of appreciation to everyone present, most especially the anniversary planning committee - headed by Elder J B Olonade (Committee Chairman), Elder Sunday Adeyemi (Church Secretary), Elder Emmanuel Silas (Committee Secretary) and Evang. A. O. Adeyeye (the District Secretary).
