The General Evangelist of Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria and Overseas, Prophet Hezekiah O. Oladeji has urged Christians across the globe to go and rebuild the altar of their relationship with God.
He noted that many Christians are far from God which he said is the major reason God Himself is far from them.
Prophet Hezekiah stated this on Tuesday November 29, 2022 while ministering at Lagos State Mega Crusade holding at the National Stadium in Lagos and organised by the World Evangelistic Outreach of Christ Apostolic Church, Lagos Regions which comprises all the regions in Lagos State namely; Akinyele, Akilling and Pearce Regions.
The Cleric stated that God is looking for the simple, not wise people, who can serve Him wholeheartedly and it is such people who can have divine encounter with Him.
While speaking on the theme of the crusade, "The Great Provider", Prophet Hezekiah said Jesus Christ is the Great Provider and He's the one who can provide what man can't provide.
According to him, the major reason many Christians are suffering these days is because they haven't surrendered all to the Great Provider.
He added that many Christians believe in what men can do, not what God can do, they read about what God can do in the scriptures, but haven't grown in His deed.
God, according to him is not looking for crowd but His beloved, stressing that He's looking for arm robbers who will repent and become Elders or Pastors tomorrow.
Citing Philippians chapter 4 verse 13, the General Evangelist said Apostle Paul has worked far in Christ and that is why he said he can do all things in Him, adding that it is those who have no condemnation that can say that.
While urging people not to fight for any title in church, Prophet Hezekiah said title without Christ will amount to nothing.
