The Authority of Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria and Overseas has inducted Pastor G.J Anthony as the pioneer District Superintendent of the newly inaugurated district, Adesan district, Mowe Zone, Mowe, Ogun State on Sunday November 13, 2022.
It was a joyous day as families and friends from far and near converged to celebrate with Pastor Anthony and the district.
The induction service of Pastor Anthony and the inauguration of Adesan distict was done by the Zonal Superintendent of Mowe Zone, Pastor M.A.O. Ajetunmobi who represented the church authority.
According to the district secretary, Pastor Akinade T. Ranti while giving his welcome address the district headquarters started with the thought and mandate of God from the mouth of Mrs. Rachel Fakehinde (now Evang. (Mrs.) Fakehinde) to Pastor M.A.O. Ajetunmobi with the support of the Board of Elders on Sunday, 30th January 2005.
"Adesan Assembly was eventually approved as a district by the CAC authority on 1st March, 2022 under Mowe zone." He said
According to him, the district comprises of three assemblies which are the headquarters, CAC Oke Igbala- Abaren 1 and CAC Oke Idahun Adura, Abaren.
The Zonal Superintendent of Mowe Zone, Pastor Ajetunmobi gave the charge on "The Great Sufficient Grace for the Race" while the bible text was taken from the book of Act 18:9-10.
According to him grace means; unmerited favour, what we have not laboured for but obtained freely, what is beyond human understanding or power that we received free of charge (Act 16:11) and what another person has laboured for that we received freely.
He also said that;"as we have received the grace of God we are also expected to preach the gospel to the loss."
He went further by highlighting what the great grace is; "the great grace is the grace of being with God, the great grace is where protection of God is certain, it's the grace of "fear not" and it's the grace of support.
According to him, we get the grace because we are weak, adding that;" God takes glory on the grace we have received. It makes our courage more stronger and it makes the light of God to manifest more in our lives"
At the end of the message, the clergyman prayed for the newly inducted Superintendent and congregation
