It was a day of history for Christ Apostolic Church, Grace Land Assembly, Ibadan, on Thursday November 3, 2022 when the General Evangelist of CAC Nigeria and Overseas, Prophet Hezekiah O. Oladeji laid the foundation of the 2000 capacity ultra modern worship centre of the church.
The church which started over a year ago at Kajola Estate, Aba-Odo, Ibadan, Oyo State has grown drastically in all ramifications under the watchful eyes of God's servant, the Minister of Charge of the assembly, Pastor Olagoke S. David.
Speaking at the foundation laying service, the General Evangelist, Prophet Hezekiah citing Psalm 87, illustrated the story of someone who said he prefers building a house for God to putting up a personal house.
Prophet Hezekiah said the owner of the church is Jesus, not family or children.
The General Evangelist appreciated God for the life of the wife of Pastor David (Minister in Charge of the Assembly) who never said the money used to purchase the land should be used for another purpose.
The Clergyman noted that God loves where He will dwell, a clean place, a place where darkness can't enter and a place where witches can't enter, adding that witches couldn't enter the church in the days of our fathers, it is not like that today when witches are even on the altars.
Prophet Hezekiah told Pastor David that CAC Grace Land is the house of God, the day he calls it "my house" the Lord will depart from there.
Minister in Charge of the assembly, Pastor David appreciated the General Evangelist for his presence and donation at the service.
He said: "Prophet Hezekiah is a father who has feathers for the young ones to fly. He is a father to me indeed."
The service had in attendance the Secretary of CAC World Evangelical Outreach, Pastor J.O. Makinwa, the District Superintendent of CAC Goodness District, Prophet J. Olu Popoola, Special Assistant to the General Evangelist, Mr. Marvelous Okunola and many others.
