It was a powerful moment at Christ Apostolic Church, Restoration Centre, Ojokoro, Lagos, on Saturday November 26, 2022 as the Church Empowerment Forum in conjunction with The Kingdom Builders Group held a November edition of a biannual lecture, themed "Ruth and Her Choices."
The Regional Superintendent, Pearce Region, Pastor S. O. Aluko welcomed everyone to the programme as he hammered on the importance of the seriousness of participants during the lectures, stating the need to make the right choices to benefit from a programme.
Taking the first lecture, the Associate Pastor of CAC Restoration Centre, Pastor Kehinde said, "you need to cooperate with God if you want to become the best in life. Choices in your physical duties and spiritual duties is not all, you need to work hand in hand with God to become the best."
He added that, there are some steps that needs to be taken before making a move as one should not just do things without involving God and "to become the best in your field, you need to be closer to God, He is interested in you."
The cleric also noted that, "no one can succeed without God. Directly or indirectly, God is always involved in everything a man does. Calling God into choices you make would enable ease and great success. When God becomes your choice, He will make everything work out well."
In the second lecture, the Regional Superintendent, Pearce Region, Pastor S. O. Aluko declared that, "right choices of today can correct the errors of the past", continuing that, "every choice that we make should involve God, we should never make a choice without putting it to God, else we bear the consequences."
According to the cleric, "God determines the result of your choices, but you are responsible for your choices because as human, you have the full authority on what to do. You need God's wisdom in every choice, they can make or mar you."
The cleric described the need to be patient in making choices, adding that "you should ask from God, wait on him and listen to his directions before making a move."
The programme ended with powerful prayers after the lectures and vote of thanks.
