Pastor Dr. Dayo Oluwamakin (JP)
Every 22nd of December, 2022 is about the Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church, Efon-Alaaye Districts' Coordinating Council (DCC), Pastor Dr. Dayo Oluwamakin (JP).
Pastor Oluwamakin was born seven decades ago into the family of Prophet Joel Oluwamakin of Oisinkin Dynasty, Efon-Alaaye Kingdom in Ekiti State. He had his early life and all his elementary education in Efon Alaaye.
He attended TTC in Efon-Alaaye for his Grade II Education, College of Education Ikere-Ekiti for his NCE, and later University of Ibadan for his bachelor's degree in Geography Education. He has worked for several years as a teacher before he later got the call into full time ministry.
Pastor Oluwamakin is an alumnus of the United Missionary Theological College (UMTCA) where he bagged his bachelor's, masters and doctoral degrees.
He was the second National Secretary for Sunday School Department in CAC Worldwide between 2001-2013. He has served in several capacities both at the local, state, regional and national levels, and also as a member of the General Executive Council.
Pastor Oluwamakin is a teacher and pastor by calling. He also serves God's purpose as an administrator, a prophet, a counselor, a historian and a writer. He has over 15 books to his credit all which have touched lives in different ways.
He is the current Superintendent of CAC Efon-Alaaye DCC. He is blessed with a beautiful wife and five adorable children.
Today is his 70th birthday and he's being celebrated by families and well wishers all over. His biographical publication as written by one of his children is soon to be out to honour his success in life and impacts in the ministry.
