The General Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria and Overseas, Pastor Emmanuel O. Odejobi has said Nigeria needs to tremble before God for her sinful ways and turn to Him for solutions.
He further said that the country needs to tremble because iniquity has replaced equity, while decrying the prevalence of unrighteousness in the nation.
Pastor Odejobi stated this while ministering at the National Praise programme, Lagos edition, held at Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), organised by Christ Apostolic Church.
According to him, the expectation of God from Nigerians is holiness, adding that "God is demanding from us holiness in our lives, homes, churches and in government and it is holiness that will attract the hosts of Heaven."
Citing the book of 2nd Chronicles chapter 20 from verse 21 to 30, Pastor Odejobi said the same way three problems confronted Judah, Nigeria is being confronted with three problems which according to him are famine, killings and pestilence.
He explained that it was when the Israelites were singing to the Lord that He set ambushes for the three cities who wanted to fight them, saying that Nigeria will be new again.
He prophetically said that God will open heavens upon Nigeria and the nation will be likened to the nation of Israel, a land blessed by God.
