Pastor Ben Akanmu

It was a joyous moment as Pastor and Mrs. Benjamin Olayiwola Akanmu arrived Christ Apostolic Church, Oke-Igan Akure, Odubanjo Regional Headquarters to assume duty as the third Regional Superintendent since the retirement of Pastor Daniel Edoh.
Pastor Akanmu who was transferred from Yemetu DCC, Ibadan was joyfully welcomed on Tuesday January 24, 2023 with Ministers and members of the region in attendance.
In his short exhortation to the congregation who came from all the axis of the region to receive him, Pastor Akanmu said the hope of the glory of God must always be their motivating factor.
Speaking from the book of Revelation 22:16-21, the new Regional Superintendent called on Christians to have the second coming of Christ in mind, adding that, God must always be in our aspirations as wisdom without Christ is useless.
The first Regional Superintendent of the region, Pastor S. O. Akinsulure and the immediate past, Pastor Daniel Edoh were present to receive Pastor and Mrs Benjamin Olayiwola Akanmu to the region.
The Royal Shepherd had earlier welcomed him and his amiable wife with parade and national salute. After inspecting the guard of honor the new Regional Superintendent was ushered into the church auditorium by the Regional Executive led by the Regional Secretary, Pastor S. A. Olaiya.
The new Regional Superintendent was accompanied to Akure by many DCC/Zonal Superintendents, CACMA and Good women representatives as well as other dignitaries from Ibadan.
