Despite steep transport fare and scarcity of fuel, hundreds of worshippers, yesterday, stormed the Babalola Memorial International Miracle Camp (BMIMC), of the Christ Apostolic Church, to praise and pray to God for a prosperous year 2023.
The enthusiastic worshippers who defied the cold weather and festive sustenance, came in their numbers to the program entitled: “Power To Cross Over”.
Thrilling the congregation with effusive praises, a renowned gospel singer, Evang. Tolu Adelegan, sang songs which stirred the whole auditorium as both old and young danced with passion.
Afterwards, the Camp Manager, Pastor S.A. Adesoji, advised parents, guardians and children to focus on their focus and ensure they are just and upright in their heavenly pursuit.
In his well articulated homily drawn from the holy book of Joshua chapter 3, titled —“Ye has not passed this way before” the Cleric counseled the people to stand firm in Christ so as to surmount any challenges that may exude along the way to greatness.
He asked them to be faithful to God regardless any situation they find themselves either palatable or unpalatable, saying being faithful is fraught with huge reward, hence, Pastor Adesoji emphasized that faithfulness will pave way for those who abide by the impeccable principles of God.
“Be ready to do whatever He ask you to do because He is a dynamic God. You need God's presence in this journey because you have not passed it before”
“The Lord wants to take you out of your wilderness, but it takes who are ready to be submissive. We thank God we enter year 2023, but it is a journey we haven't passed through, hence we need His direction and mercy”
“You can't journey 2023 with your own wisdom and understanding. Many remained stagnant and even witnessed setback because they overly leaned on their knowledge and understanding”
However, the CAC General Evangelist, Prophet Hezekiah O. Oladeji, who piloted the anointing section during the programme, congratulated the people for scaling year 2022, praying for a successful and fruitful year 2023.
