Christ Apostolic Church, Oke-Isegun, Ilorin Districts' Coordinating Council (DCC), headquarters, Taiwo Road, Ilorin, on Sunday February 5, 2023 dedicated a 12-flat two storey building.
The building which is for commercial purpose was dedicated by the DCC Superintendent of Ilorin DCC, Evang. Emmanuel T. Akeredolu in the presence of Ministers, Elders and members of the church.
Evang. Akeredolu told CAC News that the building was bought and reconstructed the church, explaining that the roof, windows and many other things were changed.
The Cleric who disclosed that purchasing and renovation cost the church #55 millions, said the house is for commercial purposes.
He further explained that, "I noticed that our church does not venture into business like some Churches do, and I noticed that offerings are no longer coming in as before. The church needs to wake up into transportation business, real estate, banking, and agriculture."
Evang. Akeredolu also disclosed that the church is constructing an event centre of 2000 capacity to be named after the first General Evangelist of the church, Apostle Joseph Ayo Babalola.
He concluded that the church would embark on revival programmes and church planting this year, noting that they have two lands ready for church planting.
