An engineering and technology company, Bugotake Technology in partnership with the Institute of Entrepreneurship and Social Development, Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) Ile Ife, has held a graduate empowerment scheme for Tunga DCC youths.
Bugotake Technology, led by Engineer Segun Dada, is a technical partner to the Institute of Entrepreneurship and Social Development, OAU Ile Ife, offering training services on onboard Diagnosing Automobile Scanning OBDII; Global Positioning Systems GPS- Properties/Automobile Tracking; Private Automobile Branched Exchange, PABX; Close Circuit Television (CCTV) and Solar Inverter.
The Superintendent, Tunga DCC, Niger State, Pastor Samuel Oyewole A. Abiala, welcomed the scheme for the youths having investigated and discovered the impact the scheme would have on unskilled and unemployed graduated at no cost.
The empowerment scheme which featured empowerment and skill acquisition; immediate Contract Employment and Proficiency Certification, held on Tuesday, 2nd March, 2023 with the presence of the Vice Chairman, Bosso Local Government Area, Hon. Galadima while the scheme kick-started with training and practical demonstrations.
At the graduation and certification of the first batch of graduands held on Sunday, 2nd April, 2023 during the combined service of Tunga DCC, ten graduands were certified some of who were also offered immediate employment.
In his speech, the DCC Superintendent, Pastor Samuel Oyewole Abiala, expressed his profound gratitude to God and the Director of Bugotake Technology for the benefits of the scheme marked for the church youths to enjoy; encouraging the graduands to be good ambassadors of the church and of Bugotake Technology.
The Director of Bugotake, Engineer Segun Dada also congratulated the graduands, charging them on the tasks and responsibilities that lie ahead.
