The Missions Director of Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria and Overseas, Pastor Caxton S. Fasuyi has admonised CAC missionaries at The Gambia to hold tight to whatever they are doing for God.
Pastor Fasuyi stated this on Tuesday April 11, 2023 at the Welcome Service organised to formally welcome the President and his entourage to The Gambia held at CAC Gambia Headquarters, Tallinding, The Gambia.
In his words; "we thank God for CAC Mission fields at CAC Gambia and CAC Mission Department. I want to appreciate missionaries at the Gambia. The most important thing in our mission journey is that we should go out, preach the gospel, win souls, baptized by water and nurture them to maturity. It is part of the job of missionaries to train the indigene who are have given their lives to Christ to take over from them.
"If indigene takes over it would be an avenue to win more people who are indigene of Gambia for Christ. We thank God that we have been able to raise at least seven indigenous missionaries in Gambia. We are confident that Christ Apostolic Church has come to stay here and devil can't anything about it."
Pastor Fasuyi appreciated wives of the missionaries, saying it is not easy to be wives of missionaries, knowing what it entails, adding that they share out of the little they have for people because of the gospel of Christ.
He concluded by saying that; "I want to appreciate the President of our great mission, Pastor Samuel Olusegun Oladele and his wife. I always appreciate him for being a president that has a large heart. It's with his support and approval that we are able to be here. I appreciate my wife for being very wonderful. She has never be found wanting at anytime."
