The President, Christ Apostolic Church Nigeria and Overseas, Pastor Samuel O. Oladele has boasted that CAC is a balanced church of people given to Prayer, Word and Worship, as he encouraged Christians to keep close to Jesus all the way.

Noting the mission statement of the Church which says, "Leading people into the knowledge of God through in-depth study of the Word, prevailing prayer and spiritual worship", the Church Cleric expressed that, "this robust foundation of the Word has helped in no small measure to sustain the Church against strange doctrine and guide our leaders to this day.  We are generally known as 'A People of Prayer' but we are also a people of The Word and of Worship."

Represented by his Special Assistant, Pastor T. D. Asokeji, the CAC President gave this declaration at the National Mega Praise Concert 3.0 held at the Babalola Memorial Camp Ground, Ikeji-Arakeji, Osun State from Friday, 31st March till the dawn of Saturday, 1st April, 2023.

In his address where he traced the history of the church to the revival of 1930 which "was ignited by the fire of the revival of the word which started in 1918 when our forebearers were inspired to seek the Word of God through correspondence as far as Philadelphia in America and later Europe," Pastor Oladele noted that, "we are gathered here to re-establish one of the tripods upon which Christ Apostolic Church was founded - that is, Spiritual Worship, the other two being in-depth study of the Word of God, and prevailing prayer."

"I am specially grateful to God for the privilege given to us to praise Him tonight. Praise is our purpose, the reason why God created us. Revelation 4:10 says, 'You are worthy, O Lord, To receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things, And by Your will they exist and were created.' I believe that tonight's Mega Praise will be a re-enactment of what happened in the temple at Jerusalem as recorded in Chronicles 5:13-14," he said.

Speaking to the congregants at the National Praise Concert, the clergyman stated that, "the Lord shall visit us tonight as we praise Him and bless us individually, as families, Church and Nation," adding that Nigeria "needs the Saviour now more than before; we need Jesus Christ to light  our way and guide our path."

Acknowledging the CAC General Evangelist, Prophet Hezekiah Oluboye Oladeji "for this very laudable initiative. I pray that the Lord for whom you do these things shall bless you, in Jesus name", the President gave a call to salvation, saying that, "if you are yet to make Jesus Christ your Lord and Saviour then I invite you tonight to come to him, confess your sins and repent of them, He will save you, write your name in the book of life and help you to serve Him."

Declaring Mega Praise Programme open, Pastor Oladele concluded that, "we trust that God will use tonight's Mega Praise to heal our land and guide us to make the right choices spiritually, socially, politically etc., in Jesus' Mighty Name."
