He told the men that; "when you get far away from God, you must expect the consequences. If money-making is bringing gap between you and your God, think about it."
Pastor Aluko stated on Thursday June 15, 2023 while ministering on the topic "The Man in the Church" (text: Judges 7:1-10: Acts 6:3) at the 2023 National Conference of CAC Men Association holding at Ikeji-Arakeji, Osun State.
Admonishing the men to thirst for God, the renowned teacher of the word said; "if you don't have the passion and thirst to always be in the presence of God, something is wrong with you."
Quoting the book of Acts chapter 6 verse 3 which says; 'therefore, brethren, seek out from among you seven men of good reputation, full of the Holy Spirit and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business', Pastor Aluko said these men emerged after Christ had laid the foundation (Life, Preaching, Death, discipleship, etc.) and were not just mere crowd, but they were part of the processed congregation.
He also said some of them experienced pentecost (Acts 2:41-47), were regular worshippers, men of prayers, were always available when needed, were givers who were always ready to share and were ready for the gospel ( Acts 4:19, 20), imploring men at the conference to imitate them.
Highlighting the need of knowing God personally, the Cleric said; "no one can walk with God or work for God whom he or she has not experienced (personally).
Pastor Aluko charged men to always play their roles at home, society and church, saying not every man is a man.
Speaking on the church, he stated that the Church is a divine establishment of God that usually does things for His predetermined purpose, therefore, like the family (it is a spiritual family of God) it consists men and women who are representing the eternal interest of the Owner.
