The General Evangelist of Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria and Overseas, Prophet Hezekiah O. Oladeji has charged music ministers on the need to have their hearts circumcised in order to have a fruitful ministry.
The General Evangelist told the music ministers that for their ministration to be meaningful, there is need for them to circumstance their hearts.
Prophet Hezekiah, ably represented by the Camp Manager, Christ Apostolic Church, Babalola Memorial International Miracle Camp, Ikeji-Arakeji, Osun state, Pastor Samuel A. Adesoji said this yesterday at the opening session of 2023 CAC International Music Ministers' Conference holding at Oba Olashore Hall, Joseph Ayo Babalola University (JABU), Ikeji-Arakeji, Osun State.
Speaking on the topic "Circumcision of the Heart" and taking his text from Jeremiah chapter 4 verse 1-10, the renowned Prophet of God said for anyone to abide in sound doctrine, the heart of such person must be circumcised.
According to him, circumcision of the heart is the way to dedicate one's heart to the Lord.
He told the music minsters that; "there is a need for you to circumstance your heart for your ministration to be meaningful. Circumcision of heart involves having a pure heart as a vessel God uses. If you want your music ministration to bring turn around to people, you must experience circumcision of the heart. You must also have experienced supernatural turnaround through circumcision of the heart."
He admonished the music ministers not to receive lectures at the conference with unclean hearts and they should worship the Lord with a pure heart and all their labours will yield productivity.
Prophet Hezekiah stated that one aspect that is now being neglected in most churches today is music ministry, adding that; "we have forgotten that there is power in music. We give few minutes for choir ministration, but give more time for prayers to fight the enemy."
