The Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church, Southern Districts' Coordinating Council (DCC), United Kingdom, Anosike Region, Pastor Sunday Asoso has told students that they can only discover their true potentials by finding their place in God.
He told the students that nobody discovers their true potential outside of God and if they find God they will find their true potentials.
Pastor Asoso stated this on Thursday July 20, 2023 while ministering on the topic "Discovering and Unlocking Your Potential for Kingdom Exploits" at 2023 Academic Stars' Summit holding at Joseph Ayo Babalola University (JABU), Ikeji-Arakeji, Osun State, organised by the Directorate of CAC Youth Fellowship.
Defining potentials, the Cleric said: "potentials are untaped energy or power. It's God-given ability not expressed. It's the seed of divine treasure that gives ability to do extraordinary things. Your potentials are God-given, not accident."
According to him, God gives potentials for His glory, if your potentials give God glory, then they are useful and will bless humanity.
Explaining four Biblical principles to unleash potentials, Pastor Asoso mentioned worship as number one, stating that "It's more than singing. It is about using your life to glorify God. No power can stop worship. Powers can stop prayer, not worship. Everything a worshipper does pleases God. If you learn to worship God, He will also make men to worship you. It makes us acceptable to God. There is no power that can stop the force of true worship."
Pastor Asoso named the Word of God as one of the four Biblical principles to unleash potentials.
He explained: If you're a person of the Word, there is no end to the place you can go in life. When you learn how to model your life after the word of God, it will take you to places you never imagine. There is a place for the word of God and it's the foundation of everything. Those who find time for the Word are champions in what they do. Meditate on the word. Meditate means means to allow the Word of God soak in you. Anybody who enjoys the Word of God will enjoy the goodness of God."
The Clergyman who is the Regional Secretary of CAC Anosike Region (Europe) said witnessing is one of the four Biblical principles to unleash potentials.
He told the students that "your school is a place of witnessing. If you witness for Christ, He will witness His glory in your life. If you're not ashamed of Jesus, He won't be ashamed of you."
As he closed, Pastor Asoso stated that 'waiting' is one of the four Biblical principles to unleash potentials, adding that "It's an old fashioned lifestyle. If you learn the habit of waiting on the Lord you will always get the best from God. God always keeps the best for the waiter. Waiting is not sitting and doing nothing, waiting is trusting God to make a way."
