It was a day of sacred thanksgiving to God at the grand finale of 2023 Prayer Conference organised by Christ Apostolic Church, House of Prayer, United Kingdom.
The annual spiritual feast which was held for one week and well packaged with different impactful prayer sessions and spiritual worship ended with thanksgiving service on Sunday July 30, 2023.
The grand finale of the prayer conference came to a glorious end as all assemblies under House of Prayer were well represented in the annual conference which held at the Church's headquarters in Glasgow, UK.
Also present were assembly Pastors of all CACHOP assemblies, Pastor Taiwo Okunrinkoya, Pastor Rufus Thomas, Pastor Damilola Aje (host), Pastor Dr Sunday Asoso SDCC Superintendent and also Anosike Regional Secretary.
Pastor Asoso ministered on the theme of the conference asserting that Elijah could be viewed as a graced man who was referred to more than thirty times in the Bible, wrought several miracles, an epoch with reference even to the transfiguration experience amongst others.
He further stated that he can also be viewed as a metaphor/parable for standing for God even against wickedness in high places, persecution for the just cause, comfort from God in troubles, mighty , faithful and robust relationship and works with and for God.
The Senior Pastor, CAC House of Prayer, Pastor Damilola Aje was full of joy saying God has faithfully brought His Church whose seed was planted in 2008 to another year and He is helping the Church to grow in leaps and bounds stating although the devil struck, they overcame by the strength of God.
