Pastor Joe Jacobs |
The Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church, Calvary Districts' Coordinating Council (DCC), Warri, Delta State, Pastor Joe Jacobs has said forgiveness opens door of miracles to anyone who forgives, urging Christians to always forgive their offenders irrespective of the offense.
Pastor Joe Jacobs stated this while giving his charge at the welcome service of CAC 2023 Good Women Conference, 79th edition Ikeji III holding at CAC Babalola International Miracle Camp, Ikeji-Arakeji, Osun State.
He said when one has the heart of Jesus, such person will forgive because Jesus is the epitome of forgiveness, adding that anyone who has accepted the lordship of Jesus Christ will always forgive.
"There shouldn't be any sin you shouldn't forgive. Jesus wants us to have an open heart. This kind of heart can be found in Joseph who despite being offended many times by his brothers forgave them. When you learn to forgive, God will also forgive you. Forgiveness will position you for miracles. God is ready to bless many people. Many people you have put in the prison of your heart, free them. When you forgive, you have done the will of God," he stated.
He noted that "vengeance belongs to God, leave it for Him, if your husband or anybody has offended you, decide to forgive them."
According to him,"you can't forgive without having the trait of mercy in you. We all need the mercy of the Lord. Forgive, show mercy, let your mercy prevail over judgement and vengeance. Even when you ought to judge, think of forgiveness and mercy, and forgive the person. Joseph forgave his people and his dream came to pass. You must possess the key of forgiveness to unlock your heaven."
The day one of the conference featured many powerful segments which include songspiration, special thanksgiving, prophetic prayers anchored by the Zonal Superintendent of Ogudu Zone, Pastor C.A.S. Daramola and many others.
