The General Evangelist, Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria and Overseas, Prophet Hezekiah O. Oladeji has explained the connection between sound doctrine, maturity and being wise.
On how to prove one's growth through sound doctrine, Prophet Hezekiah listed that, "humble yourself before God. Acknowledge your inability as a man and recognize God's supernatural ability. Let go of your ego and pride. Deny yourself. Rend your heart, not your garment. Submit to the leadership of the Holy Spirit and His Church. Be approachable. Stand for what is right. Be a man of your word. Prove your integrity through godly character. Obey his words and commands."
In a powerful revival session at the just concluded CAC Pastors' Conference 2023 held at Joseph Ayo Babalola Memorial International Youth Camp, Prophet Hezekiah told Pastors that, "anyone who lacks spirit of maturity cannot be wise."
Giving an exhortation during his prayer and prophetic ministration, the renowned Prophet stressed the necessity of growth in sound doctrine, highlighting the dangers of not being doctrinally sound to the ordained ministers.
"If you fail to grow in sound doctrine, you cannot be promoted. If you fail to grow spiritually, forget about power, forget about grace and wisdom," he said.
The CAC General Evangelist who related many of his encounters and victory over antagonists in his hometown, charged the ordained ministers to pray fervently for restoration of lost mantles, angelic visitations and spiritual giftings.
