The long-awaited and anticipated 2023 Pastors Conference of the Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria and Overseas, has begun in grandstyle.
The conference for ordained Pastors of CAC set to retreat, refresh and refire the lives and ministries of participants started in the evening of Tuesday, 19th September, 2023, attracting clergymen from all the regions of the church.
This year's conference is themed "Proving our Growth Through Sound Doctrine"
The CAC Finance Director, Pastor J. F. Omitinde, led the opening hymn while the Regional Superintendent of Babalola region, Pastor G. S. Dada took the opening prayer.
After sessions of praises and introduction of the church General Secretary, Pastor E. E. Mapur, the President of the church, Pastor Samuel O. Oladele, opened the conference.
Under a charged atmosphere of exhortation on the need for ministers to purge themselves of secret sins, destroying the old man and find their path back to God, Prophet Princewill took revival hour, leading the ministers to fervent prayers.
While the opening session of the conference was moderated by the Chairman, Conferences and Convention Committee, Pastor Simeon Oladokun, the first lecture titled "Enhancing Doctrinal Literacy among the Clergy and Laity" was taken by the Deputy Missions Director, Pastor Seed Ibrasang.
Offerings, closings prayers by Pastor I. D. O. Akinpelu, and closing hymn led by the Director of Missions, Pastor C. S. Fasuyi ended the session as the President of the church, Pastor S. O. Oladele said the benediction.
