The Authority of Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria and Overseas has inducted Pastor Titus Olasunkanmi Oyerinde as the Superintendent of CAC Ijoka Districts' Coordinating Council (DCC) Akure, Ondo State.
Pastor Oyerinde, transferred on promotion from CAC Ogudu Zone Lagos by the church authority was inducted by the Regional Superintendent of Odubanjo Region, Pastor B.O. Akanmu on Sunday October 15, 2023 at the headquarters of Ijoka DCC in Akure.
While delivering the keynote address, the Secretary of CAC Ijoka DCC, Elder Johnson Ola Olayode said since Pastor Oyerinde got to their midst fine months ago, the church has derived a lot of satisfaction from him, his beloved wife and by extension, his family at large.
He noted that during his welcome service, they were informed that Pastor Oyerinde is a gospel singer, an Evangelist, a prophet, a priest etc. but now have a first-hand experience of the grace of God upon his life and wife, Evangelist (Mrs.) F. Oyerinde.
He added that; "infact the duo are veritable lot of blessings to this ljoka DCC and CAC mission at large. I want to use this medium to appeal to CAC authority to keep eagle eyes on them and give them an enabling ground to further develop themselves to the fullest."
According to Elder Olayode, when Pastor Oyerinde arrived, he organized seven Proophetic Revival Sundays which re-energized and revived souls in the church.
He said Pastor Oyerinde, apart from being a prophet, revivalist etc. is smart, intelligent, inspiring, hardworking and caring.
PROFILE OF PASTOR DR. T. O. OYERINDE
Pastor Titus Olasunkanmi Oyerinde is an indigene of Erinmope-Ekiti,Moba Local government in Ekiti State. He was born into a muslim family over fifty years ago. He combined Quranic and secular education until the demise of his parents, the incident which forced him to live with his grandmother who was a devoted CAC Member. The calling and the heavy hand of God upon his life made him manifest series of signs of an Evangelist, Prophet and Pastor.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING
As a matter of necessity, his uncle, Prophet Moses Oluwatowoju took him to his place for training and monitoring while he furthered his secular education. Upon the simultaneous completion of his tutelage and secondary education, Pastor Oyerinde took posting to ministry fields as church Evangelist and at the same time pursued his theological education. He attended Babajide School of Prophets and Evangelists where he was commissioned by the late CAC General Evangelist, Prophet D. O. Babajide (1992-1994). In furtherance to this, he studied at the famous 'West Africa Bible College Satellite town, Lagos, where he badged his Diploma and Bachelors of Arts in Theology (Dip. Theo & B.A. Theo). He proceeded immediately to pursue his masters and Doctorate Degrees in Psychology and Counselling. Thereafter, he put in for Chaplaincy Training with the Universal Christian College of Chaplaincy Lagos which earned him the rank of "command Captain" of the Christian Chaplains. Pastor Oyerinde is till date a consistent learner.
POSTINGS & WORKING EXPERIENCE
The young Evangelist Titus Oyerinde had his Pre-Oridnator Services at:CAC Oke-Itura Omu-Aran Kwara State as Associate Evangelist - 1990-1991, CAC Oke-Itunu, ljoko Otta, Ogun State as Associate Evangelist -1992-1993, CAC Orisun lye, Erinmope-Ekiti, Ekiti State as Resident Evangelist - 1993-1997.
He was ordained by the CAC Authorities on the 13th December 1995 upon completion of his Pastoral training at CAC TS, Ile Ife. CAC Apapa District Headquarters (now DCC) Lagos as Curate Pastor- 1998-2001;CAC Agbala-Itura Otto - Awori ljanikin, Lagos as Resident Pastor - 2001-2002;CAC Oke-Anu, Owode, Opposite Ojo Mil. Cantonement Lagos as Resident Pastor; Pioneer District Superintendent & Pioneer Zonal Supt. -2002-2016;CAC Oke-Anu Ogudu Zonal H/q Ogudu, Lagos as (Zonal Supt)- 2016 -2023;CAC Revival Centre, Ijoka DCC Akure, Ondo State as DCC Superintendent.
For reason of gifting, serviceability and competence by grace, Pastor Oyerinde had been opportuned to handled positions of responsibilities such as District Youth Coordinator; DCC Youth Coordinator; DCC Good women Supervisor; DCC Choir Supervisor;CACYOF Choir Coordinator, Lagos & Ogun;Secretary Lagos Evangelical Outreach Committee; Regional Revivalist - Pearce Region, Lagos; member CAC National Evangelical Committee (till date); Coordinator CACMA, National Choir - (till date);Pastor Dr. T. O. Oyerinde and his wife Evangelist Dr. Florence O. Oyerinde are both gospel singers and revivalists and have visited the holy land of Israel, and have been confirmed Justice of Peace (JP).
