CACTS Ile-Ife holds 42nd Convocation ceremonies next week, schedule of activities released

It will be an absolute auspicious spiritual and intellectual week at the 42nd convocation ceremonies of Christ Apostolic Church Theological Seminary, Opa, Ile Ife, slated to hold from Monday, November 27, 2023 to Friday, December 1, 2023.

The Provost of the College, Pastor Professor Christopher O. Oshun, will on Thursday, November 23, 2023 hold a Press Conference at 11am at the college. The press conference will be livestreamed on Facebook @cactsmaincampus.

As the graduating students are expected to arrive on Sunday, November 26, 2023, the first day of the ceremonies, Monday, November 27 is scheduled for Ministerial Field Experience by 11am, where a Retired Regional Superintendent of CAC, Pastor M. A. Ogundeji will serve as the resource person. An holy Communion service will follow after.

On Tuesday, November 28, Spouses' seminar will hold by 10am as a seasoned teacher and marriage counsellor, Pastor Unction Timothy Olufemi will minister on the title "Ideal Ministers' Home". 

The convocation thanksgiving service will follow after the spouses seminar where a Retired Principal, Federal Government College, Ijanikin, Lagos, Pastor J. Ayo Owoseye, will minister under the focus, "Jesus, the same Yesterday, Today and Forever."

While a football match holds between the football teams of CACTS Ile Ife and Archbishop Vinning College of Theology Akure in the early hours of Wednesday, November 29, a Banquet and Award Night will hold from 2pm on the same day.

The 12th Convocation lecture of the Seminary college, titled "Principles of Effective Church Management in Contemporary Times" will hold on Thursday, November 30 by 11am. Overseer of Ikeja District and Coordinator of Ikeja Axis of Foursquare Gospel Church, Rev. Ayomide Abraham is the Guest Lecturer.

The grand-finale and conferment of awards of Certificate, Diploma and Degrees to graduands holds on Friday, December 1, 2023, as the Visitor to the Seminary and CAC President, Pastor Samuel O. Oladele, will leads the ceremony.
