The long-anticipated conference, marking part of the celebration activities of the 11th Anniversary of Christ Apostolic Church Praise Chapel, Ile Ife, Osun State, The Truth Conference, has began on Sunday, November 12, 2023.
The Sunday Service, marking the Day 1 of the Conference, was in all its uniqueness as the congregation was in aura of the expectations of the encounters the conference would bring.
The host minister, Pastor Unction Timothy Olufemi, who declared the programme open, led the first session of prophetic utterances from the Word of God.
Prophet Elisha Alalade (Baba Ori Oke Ikoyi), who also rained prayers and prophetic declarations on the congregation, spoke on the theme of the conference, "Greater Works" from the text, John 14:12.
Prophet Alalade stressed that believing precedes the doing of greater works, as the first step is to have faith.
"If you don't have confidence in doing greater works, it will amount to fruitless works. It is a good thing to pursue greater works as God us expecting people He will use. The greatest work is to be commissioned for greater works and the work must be done with faith," he said.
Noting that there are evil works and works of darkness, the cleric stated that spiritual inheritance, spiritual foundation and spiritual assurance, are associated with the greater works that Christ promised.
In his exhortation and charge on the mandate of the annual conference, Pastor Unction expressed that "with the theme "Greater Works", we arw burdened to fulfill Jesus' prophecy and eternal mandate of the Trinity in every sector of influence (mountains of the Lord). We stand for the truth against all forms of corruption, apostacy, wickedness, Islamization, banditry, kidnapping and power of darkness. We are products of prophecy. Now, the hour has come for the prophecy of dominion mandate of the righteous to come to pass."
"Be of good cheer, God has prepared his oracles to speak His mind to us throughout he conference. Just determine not to miss out. Make every effort to avoid and shun distractions, excuses and nonchalant attitude while we all eagerly wait upon the Lord for the outpouring of His revival spirit and fire again. Every second counts, every activity edifies and every ministration is loaded with blessings. Be expectant and make this conference a personal retreat with God," he concluded.
The Conference which holds 10am and 4pm every day, will last till 8am on Sunday, November 19, 2023.
