It was a day of unforgettable encounter with the Holy Spirit through prophetic prayers, sacred and spiritual song ministrations and rhema at the Annual Night of 12 Prophets programme organised by Christ Apostolic Church, Peaceland District Headquarters, Odi-Olowo DCC, Lagos.

The well attended programme held at the National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos with the theme "The Storm of my Life Must Obey His Command" was indeed a manifestation of what Holy Spirit can do through His 12 servants who ministered prophetically to God's people.

The 12 ministers of God are Pastor A.B.C. Komolafe, Pastor J.O.A. Adebanjo, Pastor M.S. Olorunfemi, Pastor J.F.I. Gbadegeshin, Prophet Basiru Ajimati, Prophet Adeniyi Emmanuel, Evang. (Mrs.) E. John-Ola, Rev'd S.O. Olakunle, Pastor S.O. Ogundare, Rev'd Z. Adeteju, Prophet Olayiwola (Okiki Jesu) and Pastor E.O. Agbele.

While ministering on the theme of the programme, the DCC Superintendent of Odi-Olowo DCC, Pastor D.O. Ogungbenjo said being a Christian can't make one to escape storm of life, it's inevitable.

He explained that storms are difficulties and problems of life everyone experiences, some of which may be large or small.

He further said that storms don't discriminate, it can affect anybody, either Christian or non Christian, as they come unannounced (Matt. 8:26).

On causes of storm, he said one can cause storm on his or herself, adding that  "God is merciful, even if you cause your storm, He can have mercy."

Another cause of storm according to him, is people one meet in life, saying that nobody can live his or her life alone without relating with some people, telling the congregation that there are people they need to separate themselves from.

Pastor Ogungbenjo also said that the devil is also responsible for storm, saying he attacks people's work or job, life and health.

The Cleric noted that God also causes storms, but not to destroy one's life, rather to strengthen one for divine fulfillment, citing Joseph as an example.

In his welcome speech earlier in the service, the District Superintendent of CAC Peaceland District, Pastor F.A. Oke said the beauty of a programme is not in the way it appears to people but the benefits hereafter.

He noted that last year's night of 12 prophets tagged "GOD OF PERFECTION" was nothing but a huge success not in terms of attendance but the results recorded after.

"This year's edition is so promising that, even the ordinary passersby will go home blessed. Inspite of arrays of dreadful revelation and prophesies that rented the air on our land for the just concluded elections held on Nigeria soil, we thank God we're not at war. To mention but a few, some of our sisters who came as spinsters are now married, hallelujah! Pregnant women were delivered of their babies alive," he said.

Speaking on the theme of this year's programme, Pastor Oke prayed for people that their storms shall give way no matter how long it has been.

He appreciated all children of God who have been contributing their resources to making sure the programme happens yearly, praying that the Lord will reward them all.
