The Planter of Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) Adamimogo Grace of Mercy Prayer Mountain, Prophet Sam Olu Alo has urged Christians and religious leaders to always render selfless services to humanity.
The renowned man of God who congratulated Christians in Ekiti state and Nigeria at large for witnessing another Christmas admonished them to make the lessons of love and giving which the birth of Jesus Christ symbolize their watchword.
The man of God who expressed the belief that the country will get over her current economic challenges urged the people to be optimistic that 2024 would be a year of prosperity for the country and its people.
Prophet Alo stressed the need for Nigerians to extend a helping hand to one another during this yuletide season and beyond, especially to the less privileged maintained that national development would be enhanced when Nigerians see one another as brothers and sisters regardless of religion and tribe.
The cleric in a goodwill message signed by his PA Deji Ogunbusuyi, said Christmas is a season to demonstrate love for one another, through giving, adding that expression of love, generosity and understanding should extend beyond the season, leading to peaceful co-existence among Nigerians.
Reiterating his commitment to the promotion of peaceful coexistence among adherents of various religions in Nigeria and creating a conducive atmosphere to practice their faith, he also praised the people of the state irrespective of their religious differences for living in harmony.
“Christmas is a season to give, as it symbolizes the time God gifted Jesus to the world, according to the Holy Bible. It is a season to express love and generosity to one another, especially, the needy and the less privileged in the society.
“It is also a time for Nigerians to note that love for God and humanity is the foundation of religion. I urge Nigerians to use this season to build goodwill and be more united in the task of building a very strong and vibrant nation.
“We can achieve more if we stay united, extend hands of fellowship to one another and be law abiding. We must also rededicate ourselves to the virtues of faith in God, love for one another and make these virtues more evident and practical in our daily living.”
The Prophet while wishing Nigeria people a merry Christmas and happy new year in advance, enjoined them to intensify prayers for Ekiti state and Nigeria to witness a higher dimension of blessings, progress and prosperity incoming year. (The Guardian)
