In a night filled with joyous melodies and vibrant celebrations, the Christ Apostolic Church Youth Fellowship, Apeka District, Lagos, has held a thrilling music concert tagged 'Mega Praise Concert 2.0 - Oaks of Righteousness'.
The event which kicked off with an energetic praise session led by the Apeka District Youth Choir, also featured a game, testing the biblical knowledge of the youths.
A lineup of talented musical artists, including the remarkable 12-year-old 'Winners Sax' who ministered powerfully with his saxophone; and another artiste, Okiki Jesu, who delivered his ministration in what is called Fuji gospel.
Sister Oluwatobiloba Latiyin's melodious voice and the host choir, led the attendees to the mood of celebration, as they rendered the popular song 'Ebenezeri', expressing gratitude for God's faithfulness.
Also, Minister ‘Grace Speaks' delivered a powerful poetic piece on 'oaks of righteousness,' while the drama group called 'Imole Ayo' encouraged the congregation to embrace gratitude rather than murmuring.
On the major highlight of the day, the Secretary, CAC Apeka District, Pastor Joshua Olufemi Kolawole delivered a sermon on the theme of the concert, "Oaks of Righteousness" from the text, Isaiah 61:3.
The cleric likened strong men to oaks, emphasizing that Jesus, metaphorized as an oak, came to restore fallen humanity to God, urging the congregation to be lights in the world and not compromise their righteous stance.
In his concluding remarks, Pastor Kolawole urged the congregation not to compromise or complain but to shine brightly as oaks of righteousness in the world.
