The National President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) Bishop Wale Oke paid a courtesy call on the President of Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria and Overseas, Pastor Samuel O. Oladele on Wednesday December 20, 2023 at the CAC General Secretariat Complex Ibadan, Oyo State.
Bishop Wale Oke is the President and founder of The Sword of The Spirit Ministries International and Presiding Bishop of Christ Life Church.
While speaking, he appreciated the C.A.C. President for accepting to receive them despite the short notification.
According to Bishop Oke, CAC is blessed to have a leader like Pastor Oladele who is not only spiritually strong but globally experienced.
He disclosed that he came to establish a personal relationship with Pastor Oladele and as President of PFN explore ways of strengthening the bond of unity among denominations under the CPFN/PFN bloc of CAN.
The CAC President currently serves as Vice President of the Christian Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (CPFN).
Earlier in his welcome speech, Pastor Oladele expressed delight that Bishop Oke was eventually able to visit after several postponements of earlier appointments.
He further stated the need to convene a stakeholders' meeting of the CPFN/PFN block were some matters of concern need to be addressed in such a manner that the Lord will be glorified.
In his response, the PFN President affirmed the need for such stakeholders' meeting and promised to convene one as soon as possible.
In the entourage of the Bishop were his Chief of Staff, Bishop Tunde Akin-Akinsanya who serves as the Chairman of PFN in Ogun State; Bishop Oladapo Ogunshola and Pastor Olugbenga Afolabi both of Christ Life Church, Ibadan.
On hand to receive the PFN President were our General Superintendent Pastor E.O. Odejobi, Superintendent of Babalola region Pastor G.S. DADA, who is the incumbent Chairman of CAN and CPFN in Oyo State.
Others in attendance include the immediate past National Treasurer of CAN Pastor S.O. Okusanya, Vice-Chairman of CPFN in Oyo State, Pastor T. O. Ajao; Secretary CPFN Oyo State, Pastor J. A. Adebiyi; Treasurer of CPFN in Oyo State, Pastor M. K. O. Oloruntoba; Chairman of CPFN in Egbeda Local Government Area of Oyo State, Pastor O. A. Akinpelu and the Special Assistant to our President, Pastor T.D. Asokeji.
To round off the visit, the PFN President and his entourage were conducted round the All Saints' Chapel where the President worships. There group photographs were taken before the guests departed from the complex.
