Possessing 2024: Prayers can't grow maize on a land, actional principles are required after prayers, Pastor Unction says ahead of new year

As the new year 2024 approaches in few days, Christians have been told that possessing 2024 does not only answer to prayers, as it has to do with knowing and understanding the principles of God.

This was made known by the Minister-in-charge of Christ Apostolic Church, Praise Chapel, Ile Ife, Osun State, Pastor Unction Timothy Olufemi, on Tuesday, December 27, 2023, at the second day of the ongoing "Possessing 2024" online programme held on the CAC News Facebook platform.

Pastor Olufemi, who allegorized that prayers cannot grow maize on a large farmland until other agricultural processes like planting are put in place, urged that when prayers are made, proper actions must follow.

Reacting to opinions that criticize that Nigeria as a praying nation is not at par with developing nations, the clergyman explained that there's much more than money and riches to possess, and in the operations of the Kingdom, God gives the power to possess.

Pastor Olufemi, who is also the CAC National Teenagers Coordinator, expressed that year 2024 is a race marked out, buttressing the ability of God to surpass imaginations because His ways are beyond the ways of man.

Speaking on carrying a vision as a principle to apply in the new year, the CAC National Teenagers Coordinator, who defined vision as seeing one's future with the eyes of God and an illumination into God's divine plan, charged that many have been limited by public opinion because they their future through eyes of their friends. 

The cleric counselled on the need to understand one's niche, enablement and ability, adding that life is not about oppression or impression but impact.

Another principle noted by the seasoned preacher and minister of God, is being intentional, which surrounds being deliberate, avoiding distractions (such as excuses and lies), avoiding procrastination and public opinion.

"Plan the year, start small, be persistent, achieve set goals. Don't walk with everyone. Walk with those who matter. Look for relevant people and those who matter," Pastor Unction Timothy said.
