A call has gone to all Christians across the globe to mainly depend on God at all times for the supply of all things.
The General Evangelist of Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria and Overseas, Prophet Hezekiah O. Oladeji made this call last week at a programme tagged "Gathering of Prophets 2024" held in honour of the first President of the church, Oba/Pastor Isaac Babalola Akinyele at his palace in Alafara, Ibadan, Oyo State.
Speaking on the theme of the programme "God of Our Fathers", the General Evangelist said the forefathers of the church depended mainly on God and He backed them to the end.
He told them that God on behalf of the fathers of the church silenced every evil power and deity and backed them to the level that they raised the dead.
He added that; "God silenced the enemy of the gospel in their generation. They laboured for what we are enjoying today. They fasted uncountable times. One of them is Oba Akinyele. Oba Akinyele was one of those who tutored Apostle Joseph Ayo Babalola."
According to Prophet Hezekiah, God of our fathers transformed a blind man and made kings to bow before him, He encountered some idol worshippers and they became vessels for Him.
Assuring the congregation of what God does in Christ Apostolic Church, Prophet Hezekiah noted that; "God of our fathers doesn't put anyone to shame. If God of our fathers loves you, congratulations to you. If He fights you, your unborn generation will share from it. Children of Oba Akinyele, this is the time to renew the covenant of our forefathers. God of our fathers destroys works of darkness."
While explaining the importance of salvation in man's life, the renowned Prophet said what makes him to enjoy his life is salvation, adding that forefathers of the church surrendered their lives to Christ, they never served God with hypocrisy, but surrendered all to Him.
The programme was loaded with many impactful prayer sessions which were anchored by Regional Revivalist of CAC Babalola Region, Evang. J.A. Osasona; Regional Revivalist of CAC Hanson Region, Pastor Princewill Aimienoho; District Superintendent of CAC Oke-Agbara Ashi District, Ibadan, Pastor Kunle Farayola etc.
