Christ Apostolic Church is blessed with ministers who are not after selfish interest, but the growth and development of the church. Ministers of God who dedicated themselves to church planting, evangelism, proper church administration etc., Pastor Gideon O. Oladokun is one of such ministers.
The 4th DCC Superintendent of CAC Itire DCC who marks his birthday today is a teacher, an Evangelist,a Pastor, a Prophet, author of books and musicologist with 11 albums to his credit.
PROFILE OF PASTOR DR. GIDEON O. OLADOKUN
Born into a Christian family of Late Pastor Joseph Oladokun Awokunle who was also a Pastor until he demised and Late Mrs Elizabeth AdeotiAwokunle on 15th February, 1959 at Ibadan, Oyo State.
He was groomed and brought up in the way of the Lord through fervent prayers, spiritually and biblical teachings. He had lowly and humble beginning whom God delivered from sudden blindness while still in Primary School but witnessed the healing power of the Lord Jesus Christ after 1 year. He rose from being a Shorthand Typist, Land Surveyor and Professional Driver to answer the call of God in 1981.
Pastor Gideon O. Oladokun who is a firm believer in hard work, stressed that to be a successful Minister, it requires formal education which he pursed with passion and diligence by attending various Bible Schools, Seminaries and University for a formal Theological training from where he obtained various degrees:-
1. Doctor of Biblical Studies from the Triune Biblical University, Washington DC, USA (Lagos Extention) – 1995.
2. Doctor of Philosophy in Church Growth and Ministry from Go Ye Christian University in Affiliation with Africa Institute of Church Growth, Lagos – 2004.
3. Masters of Theology from the Triune Biblical University, Washington DC, USA (Lagos Extention) – 1992.
4. Bachelor of Theology from the Triune Biblical University, Washington DC, USA (Lagos Extension) – 1991.
5. Post Graduate Diploma in Church Growth from African Institute of Church Growth – 2001.
6. Advanced Diploma in Church Growth from African Institute of Church Growth - 2000.
7. Diploma in Basic and Advance Course in Child Evangelism from Child and Word Foundation – 1987.
8. Diploma in Theology from International Bible Training College (IBTC), Ayobo, Lagos – 1982.
9. C.A.C. Secondary Modem School, Anlugbua, Ibadan.
10. First School Leaving Certificate at IDC School, Idi-Iya Village, Ibadan.
His Beliefs are:
In spite of your lowly background, God can still manifest His glory in your life;

You cannot achieve what you are unwilling to pursue;
When there is no project, there is no progress;
When God seems to delay, it is a pointer to show that He is coming in a bigger way and;

Oladokun a man of many ministerial endowments – mentor of great men and women of God both in Nigeria and beyond who are all successful Ministers in their area of calling, Preacher, Teacher, Evangelist, Prophet, an Author of Books like – Extract from the Lord’s Prayer, Personal Soul Winning, A Good Start, Manual for Christian Home, 24 Hours of the Bible Power of Praise, Effective Associate, Personal Development for Leaders, Pastors’ Wives – and also a Musicologist with 12 (Twelve) Albums to his credit like – JesuIdakoro mi, Ma Banuje, A O Pade, OhunTo SeFun Mi, Ile IleriMi, Celebration of Life, A Dara, Iho Ayo, RereniOluwa, Something Good, Simi Le Mi, Mama Rere.

Ø May 2007: Led a contingent of Eminent Leaders to C.A.C. Agbo Oba to reconcile and bring back members from Supreme Council at Ilorin.
Ø Upon request, He was promoted as Pioneer Chairman, C.A.C. Agbo Oba Zone: May 2007 – December 2011.
