Th newly inducted Regional Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church, Medaiyese Region, Pastor Gabriel A. Aboderin has stated that he never dreamt of attaining the position.
Pastor Aboderin stated this on Sunday April 7, 2024 at his induction by the authority of Christ Apostolic Church as the 3rd Regional Superintendent of CAC Medaiyese Region.
He disclosed that his mandate would be centred on evangelism.
Pastor Aboderin added that; “by divine provision every minister has a clear agenda in the book of Mathew 28, commence reading from verse 18. So, the agenda of God is clear. Go and evangelize. That has been the pillar upon which my ministerial agenda is built. So by the grace of God, I am going to leverage on the foundation that has been laid by my predecessors. Primarily and paramountly, my agenda is centred around evangelism.
Pastor Aboderin appreciated the President of the church, Pastor Samuel O. Oladele for the role he played in his life and ministerial journey.
He explained that; " my calling into the ministry was through Baba Oladele. He taught me the ABC of commitment and boldness in the ministry. I promise that I will continue to respond to whatever the Lord has sent him to do in my life. When I was called into the ministry, I received training from him, but he told me the training is not enough, I should go to seminary. Everything about my life in the ministry has been through him. I got my wife through him. Like Abraham did to Isaac, so he did to me."
The Medaiyese Regional Superintendent also acknowledged the role the General Superintendent of the church, Pastor Emmanuel O. Odejobi played in his life, saying that he bought him the first collar he used as a Pastor.
The Secretary, Medaiyese Region, Pastor Gabriel Imoukhuede, expressed gratitude to God for the appointment and posting of Pastor Aboderin as the 3rd regional Superintendent.
He said Aboderin’s acceptance to be posted from the United States to Nigeria speaks volumes of his focus and determination to make heaven.
He described the new Regional Superintendent as a complete gentleman, peace-loving, deep rooted Theologian, a prayer triumphant, a problem solver and a friend of the high and low in the Ministerial hierarchy among others.
He also acknowledged the incredible contributions of his predecessors, Pastor G. C. Osuigbo and Pastor O. C. Chukwuezie.
He honoured the pioneering efforts of Pastor Osuigbo, who he described as a true evangelical giant and also Pastor Chukwuezie for building on it.
Pastor Aboderin’s wife, Lady Evangelist Deborah Aboderin, said, “We thank God for the success of today’s induction and as we continue to serve in love and harmony, and with all our heart. I pray for open heaven for the church of God and the nation at large.”
Pastor Aboderin, until his transfer and elevation to the position of Regional Superintendent, was the DCC Superintendent of CAC Central Florida DCC, USA.

Akinsulure and his wife; Special Assistant to the President, Pastor T.D. Asokeji; Director of Publicity, Pastor Ademisoye Alawode; Secretary of CAC World Evangelistic Outreach, Pastor J.O. Makinwa; Special Assistant to the General Superintendent, Pastor Oludare Agede and many others.
