Regional Superintendent of CAC Essien Region, Pastor I.O. Eyebiokin administering the induction rite on Ibara-Omida Zonal Superintendent, Pastor V.O. Osiyemi
Sunday April 21, 2024 was a remarkable day of history at Christ Apostolic Church, Ibara-Omida Zone, Abeokuta, Ogun State as the Zone was formally inaugurated and Pastor Victor Olusegun Osiyemi inducted as pioneer Superintendent.
The Regional Superintendent of CAC Essien Region, Pastor I. O. Eyebiokin, who represented the Church authority, inaugurated the zone and inducted Pastor Osiyemi.
It was a moment of overwhelming joy for Ministers and members of Ibara-Omida zone when the Regional Superintendent administered the inauguration and induction rites. It would be recalled that last year, the Church Authority upgraded Ibara-Omida District to Ibara-Omida Zone having met up with all the criteria. Until become a Zone, Ibara-Omida was under CAC Lafenwa Districts' Coordinating Council (DCC), Lafenwa, Ogun State.
While delivering the message at the programme, Egba Axis Leader, Essien Region, Pastor Samuel Bamidele Olatunde urged the congregants to be visionary and live a purposeful life.
Ministering on the topic 'Power of Vision and Purpose', Pastor Olatunde who is the DCC Superintendent of CAC Holy Ghost DCC said anyone who doesn't have a vision or purpose is not human.
According to him, God created us to be creative and creativity is the hallmark of every human being.
He defined purpose as when you know and understand what you were born to accomplish in life, adding that God can give you a desire, but you have to discover His purpose for your life.
"You were born to be creative, you were born to enlarge. When you have a purpose, it will become your passion. When the heart of man is polluted by sin, he can't see the revelation of God for his life. The gift or talents you have are to enhance the purpose of God for your life," he stated.
He told people at the service to understand their vision and why it is essential for their success.
He further implored the people to discover and live out their purpose and overcome obstacles to their vision.
The Cleric listed two things that determines one's success in life as, profession and marital partner.
Pastor Olatunde advised the newly inducted Zonal Superintendent of Ibara-Omida zone, Pastor Osiyemi to ensure he pleases God who called Him.
Earlier in the service, the Zonal Secretary of Ibara-Omida zone, Pastor O. O. Sobanjo in his address, congratulated Pastor Osiyemi and prayed that God of mercy will continue to be with him.
He encouraged all the members of the zone telling them that: "this is just the beginning; let's continue to abound unto all good works as we have known that our labour is not in vain in the Lord."
Apart from the Regional Superintendent of Essien Region and his wife, other notable faces in attendance are Superintendent CAC Lafenwa DCC, Pastor I.K. Oluwatusin; Zonal Superintendent of CAC Salem Zone, Pastor D.A. Olorunfunmi and many others.
