A day of celebrating an icon and a living legend whose contribution to Christ Apostolic Church and the body of Christ can't be quantified at the launching of a book titled 'The Chronicles of Stewardship' which is the biography of Essien Regional Superintendent, Pastor I.O. Eyebiokin.
The event, held recently at the regional headquarters of CAC Essien Region, Isale-Ake, Abeokuta ,Ogun State had the Finance Director of CAC Nigeria and Overseas, Pastor Johnson F. Omitinde, represented by Elder Ebenezer Sasere as the special guest.
The fathers of the day were the General Superintendent of CAC Nigeria and Overseas, Pastor Emmanuel O. Odejobi and General Evangelist Prophet Hezekiah O. Oladeji. The Chief launcher was Elder Michael Idowu while Deaconess Helen Tawehinmi was the Chairperson of the day.
The writer of the book, Pastor Ayo Oduronbi, who is the English Assembly Pastor of the regional headquarters, said the motivating factor was to celebrate Pastor Eyebiokin while alive. The book was reviewed by Elder Prof. Idowu Adegbite.
In the book, 'The Chronicles of Stewardship (The Past, The Present and the Prospect)' lie indepth revelations about the making and the rising of the man popularly called 'Baba Alaseyori' from obscurity to limelight.
The book launch service started with melodious rendition of the chorister, opening hymn taken by Pastor S.B. Olatunde, the Chairman of the Committee.
The celebrant at the end of the programme thanked God, his family and everyone God used for him in the course of his ministerial work.
He also thanked CAC Authority led by the President ,Pastor S.O. Oladele and all other principal officers of the mission.
The books is on sale at Essien Regional Secretariat, the regional headquarters church and all District headquarters in Essien Region.
