The Chairperson of Christ Apostolic Church Ministers' Wives Fellowship, Nigeria and Overseas, Mrs. S.K. Oladele, has encouraged ministers' wives to utilize their God-given gifts responsibly and effectively.
She made this appeal during her closing charge at the just-concluded 51st CAC Ministers' Wives Conference 2024, held at the Ikeji II Conference Centre, Babalola International Memorial Camp, Ikeji-Arakeji, Osun State.
Mrs. Oladele emphasized that their gifts are for the benefit of the body of Christ, including their relations, families, and the church.
She urged them to create time to meditate on the scriptures daily, warning that ungodly behavior requires constant meditation. She also stressed the importance of living a holy life, as God is holy.
Furthermore, Mrs. Oladele encouraged the ministers' wives to engage in aggressive evangelism, using various methods such as tracts or social media.
She emphasized the importance of taking care of their homes, husbands, and children, citing the biblical wisdom that "a wise woman builds her house, but a foolish one pulls it down with her hands."
She cautioned them to monitor their children and train them in the way of the Lord, so they can resist ungodly influences.
Conclusively, Mrs. Oladele prayed for God's protection and urged the ministers' wives to use their character to draw people to Christ, highlighting the clear distinction between discipline and wickedness.
The conference concluded with a holy communion service led by Chairman of the CAC Ministers' Wives Advisory Committee, Pastor Adegoke.
